Choices

I have been existential of late. Maybe I've always been so. My current lines of thought have been pulling towards the idea of choice. The choices we and others make that influence us and in turn, everything!

Our choices are direct points of contact with fate and future and present and past. The rare times we are aware of our choices, we've the unique opportunity to forever flavour our existence. Sometimes we know what flavor to expect. Sometimes it's a complete unknown. But we know, at that moment we’re at a crossroads and our choice affects everything.

So, choose carefully and with conviction. And always, if possible, choose the kindest choice. Infuse your choices with kindness and not contempt or hate or distrust. And then perhaps you can look back after a long life and say “Yes. I did my best!”
